Khetipati Organics is a women-led agro-processing company on a mission to create a positive impact on our food habits, food ecosystem and the lives of small horticulture growers. Our journey began with a vision to revolutionize the food landscape, emphasizing health, sustainability, and social responsibility. At the heart of our mission is the desire to foster a supply chain that provides financial stability to smallholder farmers and address the pressing issue of post-harvest loss. Driven by a passion for sustainability production, we have integrated environmentally conscious technologies into our production process and processing facility.
Our expertise lies in crafting dehydrated fruits, vegetables, herbs & spices – all meticulously hand selected to ensure exceptional quality and natural goodness. More recently, we have expanded our offerings to include delightful ready-to-eat meals under our brand “The Laughing Sherpa.” Each product is a testament to our commitment to quality, ethical sourcing and sustainable production.

Ethically Sourced, Sustainably Produced
Our initiatives are aimed at empowering smallholder farmers of rural Nepal with steady income by adding value to the locally produced horticulture produce. We assist our farmers with production planning, offer them buy back guarantees through contracts, provide guidance on optimal farming practices, and support them with pre- and post-harvest activities and market linkages.
Additionally, we environmentally sustainable practices and technologies to process and add value to the farmers’ produce opening up opportunities for locally produced horticulture goods to access premium pricing and high-end markets. With a steady and increased revenue stream, we enable our smallholder farmers to better plan for risks and make important farm-level changes such as expand their farm size, utilize quality inputs, and invest in labor and technology, ultimately leading to higher-quality production.
